Nectar Mattress Review

The Nectar Mattress

Is not quite like any other I’ve ever seen and it’s even being sold differently by cutting out the retailer and selling to you directly. A great nights sleep starts with a great mattress and this one is exceptional for quite a number of reasons.

It comes with a 365 day trial.

This is quite unusual in its own right, but the trial is risk-free. If after a year of sleeping in it, you decide it’s not for you, you can send it back and get a full refund. That is some degree of confidence in the product. They even come and collect it for free. That is indeed a no-risk trial.

It comes with a forever warranty

For ten years, if anything at all goes wrong with the mattress through any form of manufacturing defect, they will just replace it with a new one. After this, in  In years 10+ Nectar will completely repair and re-cover your Nectar Mattress, or replace it. All transportation charges will be waived if they find a manufacturing defect(s) or a materials failure is confirmed to exist.

Their customer services are awesome

In writing this, I spoke to a few people in their customer services team and they are super helpful. Even using the chatbot on the front of the site I got an answer from a lady very quickly indeed – or a very personable robot.

So far, so good, but what about the mattress make it unusual and even better?

Well, how it’s made for a start. Have a look here.

How the Nectar Mattress is made

Normal mattresses – and by this I mean old-fashioned ones full of springs or conventional memory foam mattresses – are always a compromise. Add springs and they have to be covered so they don’t stick into you. This means padding and wadding which will wear away over time. Sooner or later, those springs are going to be digging into you and wrecking your sleep.

With memory foam, my experience is that you can’t sleep because you are just too hot. It’s like sleeping with yourself tightly wrapped in a plastic sack in the summer and still manages to be cold and unforgiving in the winter. But the Nectar Mattress uses different types of foam and has a Tencel Cooling Cover to improve airflow, wick away any heat your body generates and scare away any bedbugs. It’s sort of a win, win, win. You can see this in the diagram below.

But perhaps my favourite claim is that it’s the Goldilocks mattress

If you’ve ever tried to buy a new bed then you get confused very quickly. Common sense says that you need an orthopaedic mattress for better back support. You know it makes sense….. Until you try it and it’s so uncomfortable.

You switch to trying a softer mattress in the store. At first it’s like a slice of heaven, like sliding into a bag of feathers. But lay there for a few minutes more and the lack of support starts to tell. Your lower back aches and you worry if you’ll ever dig yourself out of your new pit of discomfort. Even a few minutes in a bad bed can set a Sciatica sufferer back weeks and lead to all sorts of walking difficulties.

But the Nectar Mattress is different. It’s the Goldilocks of mattresses. Not too firm and not too soft. Supportive where you need it and forgiving where you want it.

So what does it cost?

This was a genuine surprise. Having looked at Tempur Mattresses which cost over $2,500, the Nectar Mattress costs only $795 for a Queen and the King is $900. Not cheap, but for a mattress of this quality it’s exceptional value.

But as a gift for you if you’ve been able to read all the way to the bottom of this review, here’s a link to get you $125 off and two free pillows. Just click this link to claim yours now.

Sadly, the Nectar Mattress is only available in the US for now.
